Intimate, like creation. Intimate, like destruction.Poetry is a practice of deep inquiry. Poems reveal themselves to me much like an oracle; yet, each poem also becomes a spell.
Poems are a way for me to express kinesthetic, emotional body experience in a sculpture of words. They are an internal form of Performance Art. They are themselves music. Some say poetry is dead; it is not. It is homeopathic medicine for a time in which we move too fast, as it asks us to slow down and look again, and again. To imagine for ourselves. To be present. And to feel.
